Warehouse/Stores Operative

Ercol are market leaders in the manufacture of high-quality solid wood furniture based in Princes Risborough, Buckinghamshire, operating from a large modern facility.

Purpose

To physically assist in all aspects of material handling in relation to warehouse, stores and factory as required to meet the needs of the business.

Role Details

Loading and unloading of inbound / outbound trailers (furniture, timber, etc)
Receive, despatch and process a wide variety of goods in and out of the factory
Based in the Stores / Warehouse. Movement of products including furniture, timber / machined parts within the factory and between departments.
Some basic IT capability will be needed to make transactions on our computer system but training will be given
Work within a team, and be flexible
Carry out any other tasks which may be reasonably required to meet the business needs.
39 hours per week

Skills

Manual handling Training
Good attention to detail with literacy and numeracy tasks
Ability to handle and move furniture sized product
Experience loading and unloading vehicles
Forklift licence preferred, but not essential.

Commutable Locations

Aylesbury, High Wycombe by train and villages surrounding with own transport.
